STEAM Play

Explore, Create, Share is an opportunity for Young Scientists and "Imagineers" 18 months and older to explore and delight in open-ended, spontaneous STEAM fun!. At Ignite, we believe that all kids learn best through active self-driven play. We have designed science, engineering, and creative arts stations to evoke curiosity, wonder, and joy in our young scientists and their caregivers.

Explore, Create, Share STEAM Play encourages growth and development in ALL kids. Atypical learners and neurodivergent learners thrive in the open play environment.

Come prepared to enjoy playful learning with your children and leave messy!

Ignite is open for Explore, Create, Play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30-12:00.

This is a caregiver and child open play time, not a drop-off class. Kids can stay and play for part or all of the time.

Registration is Required. We limit the number of kids participating to give plenty of space for play.

Science Art Pre-school Classes

Each week, Sparklers will dive into the wonder of science and art through multi-sensory play such as painting, exploring the beauty of nature, designing experiments, and marveling at chemical reactions. We will often tie literature with art through STEAM based stories and activities. Sparklers will be excited about their masterpieces and parents will be glad the mess was left at Ignite!

Sparklers: 3 to young 4 year-olds. Wednesday mornings from 9:30-10:15

Sparklers: Older 4's to 6 year-olds. Wednesday mornings from 10:45-11:30

Spring Semester March 25th through May 27th (No Classes April 15th due to Spring Break)
